Find out how effortless your certification process could be

Consult the Gem Acceptance Table and check if your gemstones are eligible for the GemSet certification service.

Provide us with a list of your items, indicate if you wish to include GemDox, and add your business information.

You can now stop by our offices or ship a registered and insured batch to our address.*

*For batches of 20 items or fewer, an additional €50 administration fee is applied.

Once received, we weigh each item and assign it to the corresponding report number and item code.

We screen your batch to separate the eligible and ineligible gems from each other and send the ineligible ones back to you.*

We provide you with an item overview, and a minimum expected cost and maximum possible cost.

* An administration fee of €25 is charged for screening ineligible gemstones

As soon as we receive payment of the minimum expected cost, we start the certification process.

We first examine the eligible specimen in the lab to determine its identity.

If we get conclusive results, we proceed with the generation of the report and the sealing of the gemstone. If the results are inconclusive, we return the item and share our findings and advice separately.*

If you ordered the GemDox as well, your precious stone will be photographed 360° in its seal.

Next, we draw up the final invoice based on the time needed to examine each individual item.

The invoice and all results will be shared with you via email, and you can choose to pick up the parcel yourself or schedule a registered shipment and added insurance.*

*We encourage our clients to organise the return shipment themselves by their preferred shipping company, although we also work with partners for shipping for an additional price.
